We're 9 months old...how did that happen so fast?

Claire and Evan are enjoying their solids!

This is Claire in the same outfit that I wore at about the same age, my picture is in the background.

They are both as active as can be.  Evan started crawling and pulling himself up in mid-December which resulted in a dive out of the crib one morning and a trip to the ER.  All was fine though.  Claire started crawling and pulling herself up the first week of January.  Evan also got his first tooth in December and Claire is drooling and awaiting her first tooth yet.

 

The exersaucer has a new function now.

One morning Claire pulled out grandma's tree skirt and was rolling around in it and giggling.  It was very cute.

Grandma made fleece crib sheets for them both, Evan in particular loves soft things and he was crawling over it and realized it was soft and dove in and started rolling around and giggling.  I guess you could say 

this was his favorite gift!

Check out his feet!  No one is holding the laundry basket down and we just watched as he climbed his way into the pile of clothes.

Claire is very content and can entertain herself for long periods of time, in this one she had been boxing and kicking the ball with big smiles.  She still continues to study people and faces intensely and she is really practicing her sounds out.

Why go around when you can go over?

Once again, check out the feet.  Climbing up on the kitchen chair is on his daily to-do list right now.  He is also pulling himself up to stand.  He recently learned it can hurt if you try this on hard floors and have slippery pajama feet.

Claire still likes to keeps her legs straight and feet pointed and she is smiling so much now and has finally started to giggle  a bit.

We're 8 months old!

We like to hope that they will always be this willing to share their toys.

We love that both babies love to snuggle up.  Evan army crawls and tugs on our pant legs when he wants to be picked up and Claire rolls and scoots for her hugs too.

We're 7 months old!

sometimes cooperation is hard to get...

They are eating more and more solid foods and Claire loves them all, Evan doesn't seem to like peaches but otherwise is enjoying them too.

They are beginning to interact with each other-they seem to want the toy the other has and they seem to like to just touch and chew on each others feet and hands and frequently nearly bumping heads.

Isn't he getting so big...
