Playing together-where should we go today?
Auntie Corrie came across an old purple duffel bag which she gave to C & E, they decided it was a boat. They would take their boat to visit their family and friends, it was hours and hours of play for them. Creativity and imaginative play started this summer.
They also liked to make calls to let people know they were coming.
Can one ever read to many books?
Story time with Uncle Randy-we were glad to have a break from reading Dora. They started watching tv this summer and they love Dora, they also like Kailan, Bob the Builder, Cat in the Hat, Sesame Street sometimes but nothing compares to Dora (but you didn't get to watch tv very often at all, once I returned to work in late August we allowed you to watch one show each day during breakfast).
Grandma and Grandpa do story time too.
Hanging out in grandma's beanbag.
Baby Animals at the fair
We got to see many baby animals at the Redwood County Fair this summer.
Well Claire, if you smash your face into the hole, you will be an unhappy flower.
Is there a doctor in the house?
When one of them got hurt we made the couch into the "patient care" location and so whenever one of you had a boo-boo, you would be directed to patient care and the other would be the doctor who often prescribed "ladybug, ladybug" (we have a ladybug ice pack).
Cat in the Hat makes a visit!
They like the tv show so were using their pails as "cat in the hat"
hats so I got mine out and they just loved playing around with hats.
Play Date with friends
Lunch and play time were enjoyed by C & E, Miles, Teddy and James.
Potato Head fun...
Random pics of summer fun.
Bubbles, bubbles, bubbles with cousin Coba.
We spent a lot of time at a lot of parks this summer and you both played hard.
Summer 2012 was very fun with the two of you, you have grown up so much and are so fun to play with. Bryan finished his residency June 30th and so we were both able to be home with you for the summer of 2012. Bryan started back at FT work on Sept. 20 and that is when you returned to daycare. Evan, you had a hard time transitioning back to daycare and Claire you handled it very well. You both love daycare but Evan said it best, "I like school but I don't want to go...
every day". So we decided to have Lori watch you 2 days a week again for another school year.
