Happy New Year

Daycare told them all about New Year's Eve parties and so we had to come up with something to do and so out came Wii bowling and they loved it.

2014 shower replacement turns 8 ft hole in our bedroom wall - we finished just a couple weeks before the basement flooded.  Lots of work for us in 2014.

Wishes do come true!

This past spring when Evan was "Star of the Week" at daycare he had to finish the following sentence:  If I could wish for anything I would wish for ___.   Evan said "meeting the real Dora".  As most of you know Bryan and I avoid malls, particularly MOA but knew it was time so this weekend we took them to meet the real Dora.  They were both so excited on the drive and they both ran up and gave Dora and Boots big hugs but were mostly quiet.  Right after the picture, I asked Evan if he had any questions or thoughts and he said "shhh, I just need to watch".  He just stood there silent, still and watching Dora's every move until she left the area.

Autumn leaves

One week before we closed on the old house and the trees finally dropped their leaves.  Lots of fun was had raking, jumping, diving, somersaulting into the leaves. Great last memory of the place they first called home.
