Potty Time

Claire on the potty.  Evan showed early success, but lost interest.  Claire has been consistently working on it.

 We got tired of spending so much time in the bathroom so we moved the potty chair to our tile entry and life has been much better for all of us.

 We've just decided it's easier for us to bring the potty where we need it rather than run all over the place.

On Saturday, May 12, 2012 it was decided that Claire would put on her big-girl pants and we had a "potty party" complete with balloons, cupcakes, stickers and a weekend filled with lots of potty praise.  She wet herself 4 times in a row on the first day and hasn't had a pee accident since and its been a week.  What a rockstar!  Evan's cheering and enthusiasm for Claire's success couldn't have been imagined, it was so fun to hear him support her.  What a good little guy!

July 9 update-Claire has finally mastered doing Number 2!  She did a great job training and what a relief.

Evan's favorite pool activity was jumping in the pool.  Kind of like his great-grandfather an Olympic caliber diver

Claire was a little more conservative entering the water

Evan was a natural, he was able to swim around almost immediately.  Claire was able to swim around too.  I think we have water babies!

The seaweed that washed in one night actually provided a little wading pool for them.  It wasn't as gross as it looked.

We have stuff to do, so look out!
