Thing 1 and Thing 2

Grandma and Grandpa come for a visit.

On this visit, they just wanted book after book read to them.

Gama's garden

When I say Evan loves "matos", I really mean it and fresh from the garden was his favorite.
He chowed on tomatos as much as we'd let him.

Flowers and bees were a big fascination this summer and fall.

Claire loved playing with the flowers.

Claire also spent a lot of time playing in the sandbox.

Fall on the farm

Riding in the combine with "Gampa".

Tractor ride with "Ranny" pulling the grain cart.

Riding in the big grain truck!
 Driving the Gator.

We bought them a toy tractor and gator after this particular weekend on the farm and they have continued to be a hit with them, lots and lots of playtime.

Our little bumble bee and ladybug

I took my little bumblebee and ladybug trick-o-treating to our neighbors and it was so fun!  Bryan flew out of town for the week and missed out on this fun night with them.

They carried their treat bags the entire time without dropping them, I was impressed. And while this picture doesn't capture it, they were a smiling hit everywhere we went.  I should thank daycare for this because they had costume practice day the week before and C&E were a hit with the older kids there as well and kept wanting to go back into those rooms for the extra attention.

Grandma introduced them to pumpkins and so everywhere they see a pumpkin they say "gamma, gamma", the same applies to banana bread:)

This pot of flowers survived until just this week, its been around since April and they just loved touching and watering it.

This just kinda cracks me up.

Playing in the leaves

Evan loved playing in the leaves and look closely at those beautiful eyes!
Claire tried out the leaf thing but doesn't find it quite as fun but we still got some great smiles.

Last pics from summer 2011

 They just keep getting sweeter!

This is a familiar look of Evan's-next comes a fountain of water of his mouth.

Bubbles, bubbles, bubbles.
